National Deaf Youth Day was developed to recognize and bring together deaf and hard of hearing youth from schools for the deaf, mainstream programs, and universities. National Deaf Youth Day serves two purposes:
- To celebrate the unique identity of deaf and hard of hearing people and their accomplishments; and
- To promote the idea that deaf and hard of hearing youth can do anything.

Since 2019, the NAD has worked with schools to host mock interview events with real employers for high school students. For 2022, we’ll continue the mock interview event virtually on March 4th. Please see the toolkit below to sign up or to learn how to host a mock interview event at your school.
